Christopher Robert Evans, born 13 June 1981, is an American actor. He began his acting career as a character in TV series such as Opposite sex. The actor gained acclaim for his role as the Human Torch, the Marvel Comics superhero, in Fantastic Four (2007) and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2008). Evans was also featured in film adaptations based on comic books, such as TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim against. the World (2009) Snowpiercer (2003). Evans gained more attention for his portrayal of Steve Rogers / Captain America in several Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) as well as Captain America: Civil War as well as the ensemble film The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). He was able to become one of the most highly paid actors in the world thanks to his involvement in the Marvel franchise.
