Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is a Spanish pop singer and flamenco performer. From her teens she has been a participant in pop music as well as flamenco. She also explores different genres such as hip-hop soul and Trap. Pepe Haichuela, flamenco guitarist and renowned musician has described the sound of this young artist as sweet and sharp and grit. El Mal Querer was her major commercial and critical breakthrough in 2018. Following the release of Los Angeles garnered her attention and earned her a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist, it topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums and she was awarded an Grammy. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. Motomami is her third studio album. The singer collaborated with a variety of producers and artists, such as Cory Henry. The album was released in 2022 as a result of an appearance on Saturday Night Live appearance by the singer Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was first Spanish singer who performed on her own in the show. Motomami was her album which has won three Latin Grammy Awards also made Rosalia the first female artist to receive won the Latin Album of the Year be awarded twice.
